Tyler Ryan

Lawyer

Tyler is a litigation lawyer with a practice centred on corporate and commercial issues, negligence, civil disputes, and property issues. Prior to joining the firm, Tyler earned his Bachelor of Communications with a focus on journalism studies from Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta. He then moved to Fredericton and earned his J.D. from the University of New Brunswick. After completing his articles with the City of Saint John, Tyler moved back to Fredericton to settle his roots.

During his time in law school, Tyler worked with the UNB Law Students Society’s Reorientation Committee to help incoming second-year students who spent their first-year of law school fully online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In this role, Tyler assisted these incoming students transition to an in-person learning environment. He did this by working with local businesses to host events for these students so they would have an opportunity to begin building lasting connections with their peers that they may not have had during their first online-only year.

Outside of the office, Tyler enjoys dabbling in the art of French cooking, spending time with his fiancé and their cats, photography, and pumping iron at the gym.
