Lawyer

Sarah, born and raised in Fredericton, is passionate about representing her clients in all areas of family law. Sarah has a particular interest in finding unique solutions for her clients that are both positive and sustainable. Sarah uses her alternative dispute resolution skills to reduce any animosity or disagreement that may exist in the matter, and when the situation requires it, Sarah is an able advocate and represents her clients zealously in court.

In her family law practice, Sarah provides clients with legal advice, prepares and negotiates domestic agreements (marriage contracts, co-habitation agreements, separation agreements, parenting agreements etc.). She also negotiates and litigates issues such as separation and divorce, the division of marital property, spousal support, child support, and the allocation of parenting time and decision-making responsibility.

Sarah is a volunteer for the Fredericton Legal Advice Clinic (FLAC), volunteers as a lawyer presenter for the Public Legal Education and Information Service of New Brunswick’s (PLEIS NB) family law workshops, is a board member of Family Enrichment and Counselling Services, is a volunteer evaluator with the Law Society of New Brunswick bar admission program, and is a lawyer volunteer for Pro Bono Students of Canada.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her young family, vacationing at Washademoak Lake, playing board games, and both organizing and attending events with the Atelihai (Welcome) Inuit Friendship Center.
