Karen is a corporate lawyer whose practice includes corporate organization and structuring, private corporation shareholder agreements, family business succession planning, and shareholder disputes. Karen’s clients include high net-worth individuals, employee-owned businesses, private corporations, and First Nations. Karen is also a trained mediator whose practice in this area includes private dispute resolution for family businesses, shareholders, and other individuals and organizations. Karen’s practice additionally includes tax litigation and dispute resolution including appeals to the Tax Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Appeal.
