Emily Hepditch

Student-at-Law

Emily is thrilled to join Connors Stilwell for her articling year.

Originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Emily obtained an Honours Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, psychology, and criminology from Memorial University. In 2021, she moved to Fredericton to attend UNB Law school, and quickly found her second home.

During her time in law school, Emily worked to foster her passions for advocacy and outreach. In 2023, she represented UNB Law in the Davies Corporate and Securities Moot with her team at the Federal Court in Toronto. She also served as co-chair of the UNB Law Charity Auction committee, organizing UNB’s annual Auction fundraiser for selected non-profit organizations in Fredericton.

Apart from law, Emily is an avid writer, reader, and illustrator. She has published two novels, The Woman in the Attic and Alone on the Trail, as well as a children’s book called Sweater. Her experiences as a young writer and law student have combined to make her a passionate advocate. Accordingly, she aspires to provide clients with quality service and representation.
