Daniel Maher

Student-at-Law

Daniel is thrilled to join Connors Stilwell for his articling year.

His primary interests include corporate law, commercial transactions, and wills and estates. Born and raised in Fredericton, NB, Daniel is passionate about helping individuals and organizations navigate legal challenges with clarity and confidence.

While studying at the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law, Daniel was actively involved in both academic and extracurricular initiatives. Most notably, he served as a lead organizer of the annual UNB Law vs. Dalhousie Law charity hockey game in 2024 and 2025, raising over $10,000 for Special Olympics Canada.

Daniel also gained practical experience through the UNB Sport Law Clinic, where he supported youth sport organizations across Atlantic Canada. His work focused on improving governance frameworks and conducting investigations into conduct-related matters. In recognition of his academic and extracurricular achievements, he earned the Kevin Mitchell Award.

Outside of the office, Daniel enjoys playing hockey, watching football, and spending time with his dog.
